As Atharva makes his way back to his room, he considers how impossible it is for him to like Imlie because she doesn’t love him.

He has heard Imlie plainly state that she does not love him, and he considers that he does not want to let his emotions destroy the relationship they have developed.

The next morning, Atharva is considering telling Imlie about his trip to London when he notices Imlie entering the house with her bags.

Atharva asks Imlie where she is going as she continues to try to depart while ignoring her vision.

Imlie claims that because Rudra’s health has returned to normal and Cheeni’s marriage is finished, she has no need to remain.

Atharva clutches Imlie’s hand and motions for her to wait while she moves towards the entrance.

When they hear Cheeni crying out to Atharva from the door, Imlie is already looking into Atharva’s eyes and preparing to speak.

When Rudra and Devika emerge from the home and announce that Cheeni will live with them forever, they are startled to see her.

Why did Cheeni tell the Ranas what she did in an effort to persuade them to let her stay at the Rana mansion?
