Anupama 13th March 2023 Written Update begins with:

Maaya questions Anuj about why he wants to talk to her, while Anuj becomes enraged when he sees Maaya on the screen.

Anuj asks Maaya what she told Anu that caused her to alter her mind about leaving the house with her within a few hours.

Maaya informs Anuj that she is Anu’s biological mother and that it was previously determined that Anu would prefer her over her foster parents since blood links cannot be easily severed.

Anuj tells Maaya to quit talking nonsense, and Maaya threatens to hang up if Anuj continues to be rude.

Anupama pulls the phone away from Anuj and informs him that Anu has decided to leave them.

Anupama begs Maaya to let them meet Anu once more because they did not get to say goodbye to her before they departed.

Maaya agrees to let Anuj and Anupama meet Anu, but claims it would be the final time since she wants to take her daughter out of India.
